Renee Johnson | Immediate Past President

Renee Johnson, BSDH, is a practicing dental hygienist and Adjunct Clinical Faculty in Willmar MN. She has been a member of ADHA for years and has volunteered as a Component 3 Trustee, MnDHA Constituent President, and ADHA Delegate. She also serves on the MnDHA Advocacy Council, Day at the Capitol Committee, and Membership Committee. Her work experience include private practice and public health. She passionately advocates for the underserved, provides community education across cultures, and champions a public health awareness initiative for families to establish a dental home by age 1. Renee also serves her local community by coordinating the area “Give Kids a Smile” event, serves on Early Childhood Network Advisory Board, Head Start UCap Advisory, AAP’s Oral Health Knowledge Network, and Minnesota Oral Health Coalition. To Renee, mentoring and supporting hygienists is a privelige. She is honored to serve as MnDHA Immediate Past President.
