Jill Rogge | Immediate Past President

I have been a Licensed Dental Hygienist since 1997, graduating from Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. I grew up in Two Harbors where many, many relatives still live and raise their families. I did move to the Twin Cities and have lived in Anoka for 20 years. The dental world is small in the state of MN, and I’ve been able to make many, many connections in the dental space, both through the different clinics I’ve had the opportunity to learn and grow in and through Minnesota Dental Association. Throughout my time in the dental hygiene profession different facets become important at different stages of the career, and it’s true we never stop learning. The importance of mentoring newer hygienists in the field, supporting fellow hygienists as they navigate the dental world and patient care, educating our dental peers and our patients of the value in dental hygienists, and advocating for our profession in the spaces where decisions are made have become paramount to keep this profession strong, our patients safe and standards of care high. Let’s continue and elevate this profession into it’s future!
