1.0 FTE Dental Hygienist to work at our Webster Dental Clinic


St. Croix Health is currently seeking a 1.0 FTE Dental Hygienist to work at our Webster Dental Clinic. The schedule for this position will be Monday 8:00am-6:00pm and Tuesday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm.

This position is responsible for administering oral hygiene care to patients, assessing patient oral hygiene problems or needs and maintaining health records. The Dental Hygienist advises patients on oral health maintenance and disease prevention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform general Dental Hygienist duties.

Assist with patient management responsibilities.

Manage treatment room and sterilization processes.

Ensure proper records management.


Education & Licensure:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
  • Current WI Dental Hygienist license


  • Prior experience providing dental prophylaxis and taking x-rays

FACULTY POSITION Department of Primary Dental Care Division of Dental Hygiene School of Dentistry University of Minnesota

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is now accepting applications for a 60% clinical
track faculty position in the Division of Dental Hygiene, beginning in September, 2022. The School
of Dentistry houses a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program and a Master of Science in
Dental Hygiene program, as well as a Master of Dental Therapy program. The University of
Minnesota is a major research institution and the state’s land-grant university. It comprises four
campuses throughout the state, the Twin Cities being the largest. The Academic Health Center
offers an optimal setting for pursuing a career in the field of healthcare. Students who come to the

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include dental hygiene clinical instruction to dental therapy and
dental hygiene students. The dental, dental hygiene and dental therapy integrated curricula focus
on a team–based delivery model that emphasizes community service and clinical enrichment in
public health settings. Additional responsibilities may include committee assignments and service.

Required qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field is
required. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program, be eligible
for Minnesota licensure, and have a minimum of two years clinical dental hygiene practice
Preferred attributes: Preferred attributes include Master degree in Dental Hygiene or a related
field, restorative functions certificate, demonstrated leadership skills, didactic teaching experience,
demonstrated scholarship, and clinical experience teaching dental hygiene students; minimum of
three to five years clinical dental hygiene practice.
