Lali is from Mount Gilead, North Carolina and has lived in Minnesota for the past 12 years. She started her career as a dental assistant and worked for her uncle in North Carolina. When she moved to Minnesota, she decided she wanted to expand her growth of knowledge and knew that she wanted more and became a dental hygienist. She attended Normandale Community College and received her associate degree in dental hygiene. Lali enjoys spending time educating her patients on the importance of taking care of their oral health and overall health. She also finds passion in staying up to date on the latest innovations and culture in the dental hygiene world. She also is the President for the Minnesota Dental Hygienists’ Association 2023-2024. She believes in the power of networking, the importance of creating a community of like-minded people, and being the best advocate for her patients and fellow hygienists. Outside of work, she enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering her time at various events like Team Smile, Give Kids A Smile, and at Hope Dental Clinic. She enjoys spending time with her family as the oldest of 6 siblings, and also spend time with friends and her husband as she recently got married. She also enjoys crafting, baking, being outdoors, target practicing, and loves all things pink and glitter.
